LaRon
Bryant started ball- handling at 2. By 8, his commitment was evident,
playing until midnight everyday. .LaRon prepped at Grant High School in Sacramento, California where He earned All-City and All-State. He led Grant to the CIF Championship and runner up in the state championship. He had a career high 44 points in a game. He holds 2 Grant records for the most 3-point shots in a game (10), & season. Another record-breaking time, Bryant attended American River College in Sacramento, California.He was First Team All-State, and set an A.R.C. record, with 207 3-pointers. He also led A.R.C to back-to-back Bay Valley |

Athlete of the Year in for 1997-1998 & 1998-1999. Today his name
can be seen on the wall of fame in the A.R.C Gym. LaRon went on to play Division 1 basketball at the University of California Santa Barbara from 1999-2001 |
UCSB’s dependable outside shooting threat, he led the team in 3-point shooting andthe most points scored per minute played. After college LaRon played professional basketball as a point guard for Esporte Clube Pinheiros in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Coach Bryant has worked at UCSB summer camps and kids of all ages, as a coach at the 2003 Sacramento Kings Summer Camp, as well as his own Hip Hoop Basketball clinics in Sacramento. From 2002-2004, Coach Bryant was an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at American River College. Since then he has received Jr. NBA certification, coached countless One-on-One clients and was formerly P.E. instructor at Southwestern Academy in San Marino, CA. |
